Yes, merely talking or thinking about a gear up landing and how it has
never happened to our selves increase the odds of it happening
exponentially.  But, should it happen, its not the end of the world.
Eating crow isn't so bad--it tastes like chicken.  I've found its much
more palatable with salt, pepper, oregano and a pinch of humility.
