REFLECTOR: Corvette Seats

Hey Noel-
The peltiers don't weigh anything really- just like plastic saltine's- I
suppose you can just use several small ones so the entire array would be
flexible, but for cooling, the heat that they absorb from your body needs to
be shed somehow, and for heating, the heat that they give to your body needs
to come from somewhere, and if the peltiers are just set into the foam of
the seat, then they would be effectively insulated- I am curious now on just
how those seats work, might do some googling on that....  :)

Alex,

The seats get COLD in the summer when the cold button is pushed.
It happens faster than what I can atribute to the SUV's ac.
I supect it's something like the peltier junction devices.
The question is now, Just how complex is it and what does it weigh?

The wife is already demanding that the plane have airconditioning.
She saw a plane at the symposium that had it.
