REFLECTOR: Incident/Accident

Hi Tom
I am sorry you had the off field landing in your Velocity.My Steve tells me  
it is a beautifully airplane.
 Now we are just guessing as to why the prop went to higher  pitch.
Dave Dent made some very good points.Do you know does your prop goes to  
increase pitch with higher governor pressure?
Or like some twins will the prop goes toward feather with low/oil/governor  
pressure?
I have herd front main bearing twisting in the case and causing total of  
governor pressure.
another reason for sudden oil pressure is none compliance with  
Ad-96-09-10-C1.This has to do with replacement of oil pump gears.
Please let us all know the cause of this incident.
