You as the owner builder will sign off the airframe log book for the  
inspector to look at  before or at the issue of the special air  worthy certificate 
" I certify that this aircraft has been inspected IAW the scope and  detail 
of FAR 43 Appendix D and found to 
be in a safe condition for safe operation.
the date your signature title i.e., .owner builder or AP number .
and total airframe time.
that is good till the last day of the month 12 months latter.
Engine log book sign off not required for annuals.
You will need  a airframe sign after Phase one to go into Phase  two
All this information will be explained with your operation  limitations.
