REFLECTOR: Brake Master Cylinder Fittings

I seem to recall that the threads on the master cylinders as supplied by 
Velocity are metric 10mm x 1.0.  Is this a tapered thread?

I have 1/8npt in there now, and they leak.  I need to find the correct 
fitting. 
I can find 10mm x 1 with 3/16 inverted flare.  I can't find the same 
thing without the inverted flare.

I'm assuming the main difference with inverted verses non-inverted flare 
is that instead of having a nut type thing on the end of the tube, I 
would have a plug type fitting on the tube?  If this is so, then the 
inverted flare would work okay.

Am I correct in this?
