REFLECTOR: Fuel Tank Calibration

We are just about to do our fuel tank calibration, and I realized I 

don't know a good way to stop fuel from flowing from the strake tanks 

into the sump. We do not have fuel shutoff valves on the individual 

strake tanks.

 

The other suggests already cover it, but if you really want to fill one tank
at a time, and if you have some fuel hose connectors in the lines; just
break a stir stick in half and clamp then one on each side the line with
your vise-grip pliers.  Adjust the clamping to just allow for two wall
thicknesses of the hose between the sticks.  Clamping the hose too tightly
risks damage to the hose so don't get heavy handed.

Totally unsophisticated; but quick and effective.
