How's that working out for you Al?  We are close to first start on our two
rotor with the Mistral intake (190ish hp according to Mistral...but I don't
know how they ported theirs compared to the way we did ours).....well, we
hope to be close to first start....maybe a matter of weeks.  We are working
an the panel now.

What would be a good alternative for a constant speed prop?

Richard; Talk to Craig Catto.  My fixed pitch Catto cruise prop gives me
about 1500 ft takeoff roll on my SE RG at 1825 lbs and D.A. of about 3500
ft.  From a rolling start (maybe 10-15 kts) to 60 kts in about 6 seconds.
That's with a 260 hp 3-rotor rotary engine. Al
