REFLECTOR: barn door speed brake

We built a XL-5 FG and you can stay with the 6 inch jackscrew you just need
to move the upper attach point forward (might not be possible with RG).  It
does require the jackscrew to rotate so the hole in the fuselage is now a
slow rather than a hole.  I do remember us having issues with where the
aileron bell-crank for the drop down went, so watch for that also.
