Rene,
Check the Operating Limitations that are issued with your aircraft.  One of the paragraphs will state the procedure to be followed when making a "major change".  This typically involves placing the aircraft back into a "Phase-1" test flying period (with all of its related restrictions) and usually for a minimum of 5-hours.  The Operating Limitations will specify if you need to contact the local FSDO to "inform" them of the test flight area.  Some Operating Limitations do not require any communication with the FAA (local FSDO office).  Following the test flight period showing compliance with FAR 91.319(b) a log book entry is made by the owner/pilot ... and away you go!

  I am swapping my MT for a AeroComposite Prop.  Does anyone know the forms that I must complete and the procedure to follow?  I'm sure there will be a fly off time, etc.
