REFLECTOR: Runway Rash

Larry,

The taxi test is a starting point, but are you convinced that the Oreo
has enough dampening force to stop the shimmy once it's started. I've
never had a shimmy taxing but I've been there a couple times on landing.
Your test so far indicates is 'drives well.'  Now, for the
pudding-proof.

It'd certainly be great to have a system that lets the nose wheel swivel
freely, yet would dampen out the wild swings of a shimmy.  We've got our
fingers crossed for you Larry (and also our hand out ready to borrow
your idea if it works).
