IMO wouldn't make sense unless it was at least 30% cheaper (or an oil 
shortage).

Too many disadvantages:

1. 20% less mileage and range and/or payload
2. Must modify you engine carb or fuel injection to burn 20% more
3. Need to test for water with hydrometer
4. May not be compatible with fuel system components (aluminum very bad).
5. Probably harder to start in cold weather?
6. Can't see flame from a fire.
7. Need another set of tanks at airports

I ran a dragboat for 20 yrs on alcohol which was great for racing (high 
compression, huge cooling effect, etc.), but it might be beneficial used as 
an antiknock additive like car gas up to 10%.
