With reasonable equipment I would say between $125k and $150k, the higher
number would be with great paint, EFIS/ONE and either the IO-390-X or the
XP-400 which will give you a cruise closer to 190kts at 75% power.

That's what I estimated also.  I understand that the market for a
'homebuilt' would be significantly less; but 1/4 -1/3 of the price of a
certified just seems a bit out of line.  Too bad.  Maybe it can make us
appreciate more what we have.
