REFLECTOR: Running LOP

My IO360 was built by Don George in Orlando and he used Airflow Performance
injectors. Without any adjusting, my EGT's peaked within 0.3 GPH of each
other. I run LOP regularly. A confirmation of how even the burn is, I can
lean the engine to nearly cut-off and the engine runs smoothly - just a
reduction in power.
I have a Catto prop - and use this info that I got from one of the RV lists:
RPM/100 plus MP = 48 is 75% power; 47 is 65%; 46 is 55%; 49 is 85%.
Using this, I regularly run LOP at lower altitudes and typically get 140 kts
TAS with only 6.5 GPH. This is my puttering-around-the-area cruise.
