Peter, very sorry to hear you're selling your project.
 
I'm sure you might get some very well thought out responses.  The simple,
yet not very helpful, answer is "whatever you can get someone to pay for
it."
 
Duane Swing had said that if you want to value your plane/project that you
pretty much need to write-off your time.  For the most part, when someone
buys a kit, they want to build it.  Your airframe is almost done.  The
general rule of thumb, is that it is worth what you paid for it.  Maybe a
little less.
 
It will all depend on the obvious.  How quickly do you have to sell it?
Will you find the right, motivated buyer.
 
There was an XL-RG on ebay last week.  Fast build.  around 95% complete.
Looked like an engine had been hung, but was removed and sold seperately.
It was listed twice as it didn't sell at $45K.

Due to a course correction in our lives, my girlfriend and I have decided to
sell our XL-5RG project.  This is a fast build kit and is currently hangared
at the Truckee, Ca. Airport.  With almost 1000 hours vested, the airframe is
about 95% done.  There is not much left to do before needing an engine,
prop, panel, etc.  The factory price for this kit is $75.000.  We would
