REFLECTOR: Trailing Edge Fences

As a follow up to Richard's post. I received almost all of my data on
trailing edge fences from Klaus Savier. If you followed the OSH results
from their cross country race in July, Klaus posted 141 KNTS in his 200 ci
powered varieze. Klaus made my fences for me and said that they would
improve top speed and low speed handling. I believe they did both. Top
speed is enhanced by 3-4 knots and low speed handling is improved by more
authority and reduced speed. I have two tailing edge fences per wing and at
Klaus's suggestion may add a third. Klaus is the expert that also makes and
sells the "Light Speed Electronic Ignition" which I have as dual ignitions
in my XL RG with IO540.
