The DH engine is a two stroke engine, four cylinders.  That means four 
power pulses per revolution.

IO360     - 4 stroke - 2 pulses per rev
6A-350    - 4 stroke - 3 pulses per rev
DeltaHawk - 2 stroke - 4 pulses per rev

I imagine the DeltaHawk engine would work well with an MT.
