REFLECTOR: Deltahawk engine

I am a little curious about the 300 hp engines on the SEs.

Is there a "best" 300 hp engine for the SE?

What performances parameters were you trying to achieve (TO distance, 
climb, speed, etc.)?

What is the weight penalty?
What prop do you use?
Does this require a larger ballast?
Is the range affected?

I must me tightly cowled... ?
