REFLECTOR: Oil Coolers

Hi Ronnie...

When I put the second oil cooler in the engine compartment, it was in series 
with the nose oil cooler...The first time I started to engine, it ballooned 
the oil filter...So, I called Champion and the sales person came out to 
inspect the filter to make sure it wasn't defective...He gave me a new one 
and I installed it...Immediately after starting the engine, the oil cooler 
again ballooned...As we both watched it happen...We then decided to put the 
oil coolers in parallel and that solved the problem...Just my experience...

Hi Steve,

I don't understand the difference in pressure that one oil cooler would see 
versus two oil coolers in series???
