REFLECTOR: 24 volt starter in 12 volt aircraft

It has to do with the way that the starter is wound- the core is different-
you will need to use another starter unless you can get by with about 50% of
the torque of a 12v unit.....

Go on the aeroelectrics list on the matronics system and ask.  Maybe
they have a way for you to modify the thing.
