Hi Tom,

Here's the wording for the condition inspection:


Complete paperwork - proper log book entry should read:

"I certify that this aircraft has been inspected in accordance with the 
scope and detail of appendix D of Part 43 and found to be in a condition for 
safe operation."

The entry will include the aircraft total time-in-service, the name, 
signature, and certificate type and number of the person perform­ing the 
inspection.



I have read that maintenance entries should include a description of the 
work along with a statement "I certify this aircraft is OK for return to 
service" along with the aircraft total time-in-service, the name, signature, 
and certificate type and number of the person perform­ing the inspection.

... is there a particular wording you must use after each repair, where
you sign it and put your number down?
