REFLECTOR: AWLgrip Painting Result

We've used one like this.  It's nice that it holds a lot of paint and that
you can paint the bottoms of horizontal surfaces (like the bottoms of the
strakes).  Although I like the gun Ronnie's talking about, you can not paint
up with it, only straight out and down (it's made for cars).  The drawback
of the gleempaint style is that for pieces like the main fuselage you don't
generally have enough hands to carry the gun in one, the paint pot in the
other, and the various hoses (including Hobby Air) while climbing around to
paint -- the hoses or something keeps bumping into painted surfaces.

One solution we've used with success is to put the paint pot into a small
back pack and carry it around back there.  Then you only have to hold the
gun in one and all the hoses in the other while trying to keep your balance
climbing and descending step ladders!  If you use the back pack, make sure
the paint pot lid is on really tight and that the vent cap is not loose --
otherwise you'll end up with white paint on the small of your back and
lower!  Don't ask me how I know!
