REFLECTOR: EGT Temps

There are EI/EFIs out there that answer all of the issues.  One that 
comes to mind is fully duplexed (if the A-side EFI fails, switch to 
B-side), is programmable so you program the mixture for your own 
engine/prop combination at 1" or 50 rpm intervals; injectors are 
individually programmable; etc.  Of course nobody WANTS individual 
timing per cylinder, but this EFI system provides optimum fuel to each 
injector while EI provides optimum timing.  Fuel flow, charge temp, MAP, 
etc. are among the many available readouts.  It also has auto tuning 
capability if you don't care to do your own MAP programming.

But you've got to pay for all those features.  Damn thing costs nearly 
$1000 :o)  ... Jim S.
