REFLECTOR: 65VT/ angle-of-attack system

I have a friend who has the Proprietary Systems AOA installed on his Europa.
He has not been able to get it calibrated successfully, so it is pretty much
along for the ride and becomes a nuisance when he is about to touch down.

His ports mount on top and bottom of the wing near the tip, with a drain
provided for the upper port.

If you really gotta have one, you can build one using a sensitive
Differential Pressure indicator attached to ports located on the bottom and
top of the wing (or canard).  Then you note and mark the DP that is
associated with the stall or just above that speed.

Another approach is to use a wind vane located on the side of the fuselage
with a remote indicator.

The primary usefulness in my mind is for differing load conditions which
lead to higher canard stall speed when the plane is more heavily loaded.

Just my opinion!
