REFLECTOR: Throttle Position

I decided to take a break from sanding and do a little panel design work.  My question to those who have gone before me, what is the best position for the throttle.  I am planning on the lower left of the panel and would like to know how far from the left edge I should be.  I want to use all available space but do not want to scrape knuckles or have interference behind the panel.  This is in a 173.
