REFLECTOR: IO-550 Crankcase Breather

  Okay second question.  We are installing an IO-550 in our XL-FG and are
trying to decide if we really need an oil separator and which routing on the
crankcase breather.  We were just going to use the ¾ line of the side of the
oil dipstick pipe and run a loop to the top of the firewall and out the
bottom of the airplane.  Are guys who are flying getting much oil on the
prop and what setup are they using?  Are the separators worth the $$$?
