REFLECTOR: XLRG on Grass

I bought my XLRG from Leon Howe in Australia and he taxied the plane from a
hard surface to his hangar over grass.  Let me tell you with less then 10
hrs of doing this the prop was a mess.  The leading edge is all beat up and
there are a number of dings in the back face that would never have been
there if he had never taxied over the grass.  The plane has a MT prop.  I
would never buy another one.

It won't hit the grass while taxing unless it is a good 10 inches high but
it won't be for long.  But the blade will pick up anything that is coming up
out of the grass like rocks that some ground hog dug up or a twig or a
critter that may be in it.  I don't recommend that a pusher ever land on a
grass strip other then for an emergency. It's a great vacuum cleaner.
