When I worked at Falcon Jet paint always came last. Avionics, interior then paint. 

In the process of the first two you are going to be going in and out a lot. Cabin seats etc will be going in and out the cabin doors, air hoses will be run into the cabin. A whole bunch of chances to get a big scratch and mess up the paint around the doors. 

I would say off hand that one interior fit out probably equals 5 annuals in the amount of in and out and wear and tear.
