REFLECTOR:MT Prop went missing

..and we never found anything missing in the engine bay despite an
exhaustive search. We spent approximately 15 minutes in the air after losing
the blade tips and consider ourselves lucky to have landed safely given the
high wind conditions and damage sustained.

The pictures were taken at the MT agent's facilities in Sydney after we had
brought the prop back from Moree.  Repair meant a 2.5 month wait while the
prop went back to MT Germany for repair. I think it ended up costing Leon
over AUD$7k ....ouch!! ...when amortised over the 40 odd hours of flying to
date, it made the running costs rather prohibitive!!

Sigh....just when is a reasonably priced reliable constant speed equivalent
to the MT going to become available??
