Chris,
The compounds do not seem to lock up but the deceleration is pretty 
good. I have not tried anything like a panic stop. I normally can 
land in about 2000 feet with a steady application of brakes. Takes 
about 4000 with no brakes. I can get off in about 1500. So your 3500 
number is not far off. I think with panic stopping I would need to be 
on about 3000 feet and hope for a nice over-run. I suppose one of 
these days I need to try the panic stop but I hate to break something 
doing the test.
