REFLECTOR:Tachometer Pulse Generator Options and Warning - FYI

For those of you not aware of the Tachometer Pulse
Generator Options other than direct Mag hookup or the Hall
Effect sensor for the flywheel I offer the following from
Westach Engineering as alternatives.  Both require three
wire hookups, +5-12 V DC, Ground, and the signal output to
the Tach..

The 303DH2T is a polycarbonate housing that screws directly
on the Tach drive coupling (make sure you order the correct
drive tang) and is a very easy installation.  Warning, if
you have the new Airborne (215CC/216CW air pumps replace
the popular Air- borne 211CC/212CW pumps. The new air pumps
feature finned housing which provides 90% more housing
surface) on Lycoming engines then this unit may not have
enough clearance to screw on.  

Wectach's best kept secret is the 720-14RB pickup which is
a a beautiful brass (looks like a hex head pipe plug with a
lead wire) that screws directly into the LOWER plug on the
Mag and switches via the Mag magnets.  This also makes an
easy installation.  These have to be ordered by Mag make
and possibly type.
