I thought you mentioned that the elevator trim activation causes a 'storm' to be
displayed in your 6 o'clock but the antenna is out on a canard wing tip.

This makes me think that the erroneous signal is not actually being received by
the antenna but maybe in the wiring. Route all strikefinder wiring as far away
as possible from other wiring especially the trim motor and associated
wires/relays.
