I suspect the only reason that Garmin purchased UPS was to allow them to
raise their price on their units- I will bet that there will no longer be
any "Apollo" style radios offered in the next couple of years - if it even
takes that long.

Definition of synergy will be a GPS from the combined company that
"incorporate the mystery menu system of the Garmin with the prices of the
UPS."  They'll put a smiley face on the intro screen, then increase the
price by 30% to cover the new, upgraded feature.
