REFLECTOR: Matco Brakes

I just installed the new to me High energy brakes on my XLFG. What a 
great difference they make. I had modified
my brakes to have the 1.5 dia  pucks which helped a bunch in taxing 
around the airports. But that did little in making  the
Stopping much better. So I spoke to matco about what I had done and they 
explained that their is also a special spacer
they install in the up grade that really helps with braking along with 
the thicker disk to absorbs more energy.
The spacer helps to keep the pads parallel to the disk when you have the 
larger pucks.

Just though I would pass this along  If you are thinking of upgrading to 
the matco High energy brakes  I would say it
is well worth the investment.
