REFLECTOR: Frayed Rudder Cable

FYI,


While performing the annual inspection today, I found a frayed rudder 
cable.  It is damaged right at the fairlead in the rudder horn.  It's 
difficult to see while the rudder is mounted, and I strongly suggest 
pulling the rudder to inspect it when you do your annual.

I know of one other Velocity that had a failure at this exact point.  
Luckily, it was caught during the pre-flight while testing controls free 
and clear.
