REFLECTOR: loose fuel caps

Thanks Dave, I did see a pic of an afterthought T style aluminum that went into the tank. Wondering if anyone else has just done a SS or ALUM T without having to do extra glassing?
I am priming wings next week, hopeful to do a taxi in a few weeks. Been repainting the wings on this VELO 173RG I bought used, have not flown her yet. Glad to hear about the Fuel Caps thing before I fly her too.

Thank you, Jeff

States repository are at least one solution that can be installed after
construction... as I recall the solution was an aluminum "T"

required - I think I remember in the recent discussion regarding fuel systems
with no L/R selector valve that someone discussed an experience where the
cap came off... and merely sat there on the end of the chain (while the
tank emptied).  Anyone remember the precise details?

as an absolute safety of flight issue... do NOT fly with unsecured caps!
