REFLECTOR: Fuel Vapor Release Valve

It appears as though a valve of the floating ball type is a fuel vent 
check valve, or rollover valve.

I had assumed that a rollover valve was more of a gravity issue, where 
reorientation of the valve causes it to close.  However, almost all of 
them in their description says they prevent leaking from sloshing, which 
to me implies a float valve.

The one most interesting to me is the one that is inserted into a fuel 
line.  It's hard to tell if this incorporates the floating valve:
