No I have not gotten or tried one of these. The one I have in my plane is from Aircraft Spruce and that is the one I see most of the builders use. My plane is still being built and have not seen how mine works.
Maybe an email off to them or a call will help. I can see that with rough seas and fuel sloshing it would finds it's way up the vent line and this might be the ticket for your application.
