REFLECTOR: Hinge gap

All,
Getting ready to attach my rudders to my tip sails.

I notched back the trailing edge the prescribed 1/8".  While things look
like they'll work just fine, it looks like that will leave a gap of about
1/16" which doesn't seem horrible, but should I notch further to try to
close the gap even further?
