REFLECTOR: Engine noise

After flying a few hundred hours, I experienced "noise".

It is quite likely different from yours but felt compelled to say something.

My "noise" was caused by leaving an unused Bose Head-set plugged in and the
mike next to the earpiece.

It did create feedback with an annoying noise.

No mags  ..... I did just put a filter on the radio  ........ No joy
............. But did not put a filter on the intercom............ I am
going to double check grounds and maybe add a filter
to the intercom

Kurt have you had any engine noise in your radios? I get a a lot of static
at High power settings. On the ground at Idel no noise.
Soon as i hit the power for take off i start to get a lot of static through
the intercom/ radio. Put a filter in the power line to the radio
and it did not help.
