REFLECTOR: wiring through plenum?

My spark plug and cht wires run through a small hole in the front side 
of each plenum, located at the inboard and bottom location.  I have a 
separate plenum for each side.  The hole is slotted so I can remove the 
plenum and leave the wires in place.
