Hi Dick,
I'm in the middle of priming. I choose Stewart's. I had a long conversation with them on the phone about a year ago and found them very helpful. The primer goes on super easy. My only complaint is that it has a tendency to run which may be my lack of painter skills and less to do with the paint. The primer is super easy to clean up as it is water based. I've been particularly impressed with how well it sands out. I intend to use Stewarts for the color also.

I have looked at Stewart Systems at Air Venture and like what they had to say. My body man thinks I should just use a regular automotive paint. He has used it many times on Corvettes and doesn’t see a difference. Then the question came up on clear coating. It’s more money, but he thinks it worth it. Is there a difference between automotive paints and aviation paints? What have you guys used? I would love some input.
