REFLECTOR: Rear facing MT prop governor

Larry,

 

The STD doesn't have enough room for it.  The 173LW we can cut a hold
through the shear web of the spar.  The XL's have no issues.  With the SE
you would end up cutting into the spar cap. Otherwise you have to stand the
engine way to far back.

Has anyone installed an MT Governor (or PCU5000) on a Lycoming IO360 A with
the governor pad on the rear of the engine?

Were there any airframe modifications necessary?
