Scott,

I may have inherited an extra float switch from the previous owner of my kit. Need to check my extra parts bin to be sure. Send me your address and I'll forward it to you if I can find it.

Reiff

Subject: REFLECTOR: Low Fuel Warning Sensor - Header Tank

Filling the fuel tanks in anticipation of first engine start.
The low-fuel warning float switch (located in the header tank) is giving false indications of 'low fuel' (it's an intermittent signal that is associated with the magnet switch; not the float).
Two questions and an appeal to the group ...
1) Does anyone have a float switch they are able sell/loan me? (Velocity factory has a 4 to 7-week order lead time) (will replace loaner with new switch when it arrives), and/or
2) I believe some builders have installed fuel sensors that have no moving parts - Are these working well? - if so, can you please share manufacturer name and part number.
Many Thanks!
Scott B.
