REFLECTOR: iPad BT GPS/ADS B TRAFF/WEATJEE

I think with this Dual unit and similars added to this wifi AHRS:

Could we not have the iPad as a true EFIS? I know the EFIS software would need to be different than EDB apps but they are out there I believe.
Could an iPad be panel mounted?
Would be interesting.
