I did send it back to Klaus, but he couldn't repair it, and didn't really know what was wrong with it. I lost a little confidence in him after that.....

Did you consider sending it to Klaus for repair? Though personally I like the single mag/ single EI combo... Something comforting about knowing all the electrons can quit their journey from one side of the battery to the other and the fan keeps turning.

My ECI IOX-360 has 14 mm bosses for automotive spark plugs. I had two electronic ignitions, but I replaced one of the electronic ignitions with a magneto. (Mostly because one of the Plasma III's quit working in flight.) Can I just cut the ends off of the magneto harness and crimp automotive type boots on the ends?
