Scott,
Mine is on the canard.  No problems except for water infiltration before I sealed the doghouse cover up.  Water had dripped in and down the wires into the AHRS box.  (another good reason to watch wire routing to ensure any water on a wire bundle will drip AWAY from electrical components!)  Magnetometers mounted in each strake end.  No problems
