Has anybody used these mini-annunciator panels/buttons from AircraftExtras.com? You can connect up to 6 inputs to each button and set rules for what screens to display (from the 120 available options) for normal operation or out-of-limits indication. There's even an warning tone to feed your audio panel.

So, for example, you could program 1 button to indicate fuel levels in both tanks, fuel flow, fuel pressure, and a fuel pump timer . . . plus turn yellow/red and blink if something approaches/exceeds the limits or the sump sensor trips.

Another button could indicate / annunciate voltage and amps from 2 separate electrical systems plus warn if the cross-feed connector is turned off.

Here's another interesting combination for a low-cost engine monitor: CHT on 4 cylinders, oil temperature and pressure. A tiny and inexpensive engine monitor for $160 (plus whatever the sensors cost).

You can program it to cycle through the screens or to change only when you push the button. Safe levels (green), warning levels (yellow) and critical limits (red) are programmable for every sensor.

I know that all of these functions are available in the higher-end EFISs and engine monitors, but I imagine there will still be some functions that will need their own annunciator, and this seemed like a great solution.
