REFLECTOR: Liquid electrical tape

Part of the wiring instructions for my engine EI MVP-50 monitor suggested a drop of 3 in 1 oil on each blade connector during the wiring adventure.  I did it but I am unaware of a problem before.  I have seen slight oxidation at the ground connector in the plane at the panel.  Oil does make it hard to get the connectors apart because they are slippery.  Who'd have guessed?
