REFLECTOR: Fwd: Composite Designs Landing Gear Controller Dimmer?

If the circuit follows convention, application of 12v will dim by 50%. I have a few backup gauges in my panel that do this. I prefer my panel dimmer than many people, and find this setting too bright. 
Some experimentation with resistors can improve the dimming.... But it is really not adjustable unless you stare experimenting with rheostats.
