REFLECTOR: What's the highest altitude airport you've flown into?

I flew a 172XP (180hp) out of KLXV once. Me plus 2 passengers, fuel to the tabs, we were full throttle and mixture pulled a bit the entire flight except landing at about half throttle. Went up to 12.5 and was still in the valley! Very cool. Would love to fly my standard RG in there sometime.

Regards,
Glenn

It took some planning and morning flight but I was quite surprised that stock 172 can actually handle that kind of flight.
